Abigail Barr is a New York City-based writer. Her love of words manifests in many ways: from writing comedy for Funny or Die and product reviews for The Today Show to managing social media for NBC’s Peacock and the podcasts Switched on Pop and Twenty Thousand Hertz, (where she wrote and produced an episode about movie trailers).

She’s currently the Social Media and Audience Development Strategist at The Ankler, the digital media publication covering the entertainment industry. She’s also a scriptwriter at the popular YouTube channel The Take, writing about television shows like Sex and the City, And Just Like That, and Succession, and movies like Barbie.

In her personal life, Abby recently got married! Her wedding was featured in the New York Times Mini Vows section. She lives with her husband and their cavapoo, Muppet.
